attended a theatre performance by Nibroll frm Japan during the Singapore Arts Fest

- No Direction -

it was a awesome theatre performance with graphic installation projected on 2 projection tgt with 8 performance.

"WHERE DISCOMMUNICATION CO-EXIST IN THE HOPE"

Collaborative process comprising a choreographer , film maker, music director, costume designer and lighting designer makes "No Direction" a really good work during this Singapore Arts Festival.

"COUNTLESS VALUES COULD POSSIBLY CONNECT WITH ONE ANOTHER"

The movement of the damce is not complex as it is using simple movement tt seems to be complex to be understood while it reflect the meaning of why these movement is used pertaining to the theme - No Direction.

"DESPERATION GIVES ME POWER"

what i love is the scene about Granpa's death and the repeatation of the mini movie. the meaning was rather touching and it kinda brings me to no where and this is a very good thing cos the director of this performance really brings me to no where however, the meaning is there. thou thr's miscommunication but it somehow redirect us back to what we want to know.

"DESPERATION MAKES EVERYTHING POSSIBLE"

it's rather abstract & i was impressed by it.
it was the 1st performance i attend in this year's arts fest.

next will be "Awaking" directed by Ong Ken Seng, the one who went to 12 countries after his successful installation on "impetus - VISTA Lab 1.0"
